One of the highlights of my return flight was coming under the cloud cover shortly before landing in Berlin and seeing the landscape covered with fresh snow. And since the temperature has not really topped freezing in the last week, there's been more of it to enjoy. We've even had a couple days with blue skies...an unexpected treat.

My routine for stepping outside involves putting on a scarf (handmade from Jessie:), earmuffs, a beanie and of course my gloves. As you can imagine, I was starting to sweat a bit after coming up five flights of stairs and back into my room to take this picture.
