The other recent trip was to Weimar, home of German literary giants Goethe and Schiller. It was organized by Middlebury so the group from Mainz came as well, and I got to reconnect with friends from this Summer. Although I'd been to Weimar before, I was able to appreciate it more this time around...the program covering museum and theater costs was a large part of that!
